Inspired by a book of love letters between Georgia O’Keeffe and Alfred Stieglitz, Murray created this series to introduce herself into a dialog with O’Keeffe and her life’s work. Introducing elements of her own surreal practice into images of O’Keeffe’s vibrant paintings, this series honors a monumental female artist of the 20th century while blending the strong voices of both women into a visual conversation.
